RIVERSIDE COUNTY – Riverside County announced that it has been awarded a $12 million grant from California's Encampment Resolution Funding Program. The grant, the second largest received in the state, will be used to provide housing, street outreach and wrap-around services to address the issue of homelessness in and around the San Jacinto Riverbed.In collaboration with District 5 Supervisor Yxstian Gutiérrez and the cities of San Jacinto and Hemet, the county said it is determined to tackle homelessness and make a difference in the lives of those affected.
